Today, in a special Kinotavr program, the START video service showed the first episode of the new series Storm from the creators of Arrhythmia, director Boris Khlebnikov and screenwriter Natalia Meshchaninova. One of the main roles in the project is the actor of our agency Maxim Lagashkin.
"Storm" is a drama about the confrontation between two friends, Gradov and Osokin. Osokin (Maxim Lagashkin) works in the homicide department of the police, and Gradov (Alexander Robak) is one of the best investigators in the anti-corruption department. It is Gradov who is investigating a high-profile case of embezzlement during the construction of the Sports Palace.
Gradov intends to send the head of the construction company Kryukov to jail, five minutes to the mayor of the city, but learns that his beloved Marina (Anna Mikhalkova) is seriously ill. She has a fatal diagnosis: an urgent liver transplant and expensive treatment are needed. For the sake of saving the woman he loves, Gradov is ready to sacrifice his principles.
However, more dangerous and influential authorities stand behind Kryukov. Gradov has to dodge and always be one step ahead, cracking down on enemies and bystanders in order to stay alive and save his beloved. Osokin is investigating a series of crimes. He begins to guess that his friend is behind everyone. However, Osokin does not have sufficient evidence: Gradov is extremely inventive, and his moves are devilishly smart and unpredictable.
