Alena Mikhailova won the Chopard Talent Award

On October 6, 2020, as part of the 42nd Moscow International Film Festival taking place in the capital, the Chopard Talent Award ceremony was held for young actors. In Russia, the Swiss Jewelry and Watch House, the official partner of the MIFF, is holding the awards for the fifth time. And the award, designed to evaluate the talent of novice actors, appeared back in 2001, and all this time it has been awarded as part of the Cannes Film Festival, of which Chopard has been the title partner since 1998.

This year the actress was honored with a high award Alain Mikhailov for his work in the film "Love Them All" and actor Yura Borisov for his role in the film "Bull".

Due to the epidemiological situation in the world and in the country, the ceremony was held in a chamber format in a special Chopard VIP Lounge at the Oktyabr cinema. The laureates received the award from the short film jury chairman Marina Zhigalova-Ozkan, producer, member of the board of directors of the Ivi online cinema.

The Chopard Talent Award itself is a gilded film strip rising in a spiral, which symbolizes the ascent of young actors to success and the heights of acting, this award is made in the Chopard workshops in Meyrin, near Geneva.
